Meet Karen
(The Formal Bio)

Karen has a master's degree in education (M.Ed.), with specialties in Instructional Technology and Adult Learning Principles. She operated her own Instructional Design and Project Management consulting business for more than a decade. Her clients included Granite Bay ACE Hardware, INTEL, Hewlett­ Packard, California Department of Corrections, Dialogue Information Services, CacheFlow, Phoenix Technologies, Applied Materials, and SalesForce.com, to name a few.

 

For 25 years, Karen has been helping family and friends by assessing their needs and then by designing systems for learning and skills transfer. For many years she has volunteered her services to charitable organizations and to her church. Through Organize for Serenity she is now making her organizing expertise available to the public. Karen is a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO)

 

Karen lives in Granite Bay, California, with her husband and 5 rescue cats, 2 pet swans, a productive vegetable garden and small orchard. When Karen is not busy working with clients, she spends her time gardening and flipping furniture.
